Product Summary

The FAN1112 is a 1.2V low dropout three-terminal regulator with 1A output current capability. The FAN1112 has been optimized for low voltage where transient response and minimum input voltage are critical. Current limit is trimmed to ensure specified output current and controlled short-circuit current. On-chip thermal limiting provides protection against any combination of overload and ambient temperatures that would create excessive junction temperatures. The applications of the FAN1112 include Post regulator for switching supplies, Supply for low-voltage processors.
